Yet another sign of the inmates running the asylum in in this state … maybe they should listen to there actual fans and not the zealots and wachos … I digress as usual, I guess watching or supporting the Wild is added to my growing list of ” Why Bother”

    Sigh

I don’t get it either. But great time to be a criminal. Get busted, booked back out on street to do it all over again.

I think the marketing execs at the Wild are a lot like me. No freaking clue that the blue line flag is considered a racist symbol by many. WTF?

It’s only racists to those who make it racist. For me it’s a sign of support for law enforcement. For those who don’t support law enforcement they can KMA moon

The thin blue line has represented Law Enforcement for countless years, probably asking too much for folks to figure that out though … not taught in school any longer, as not on the approved list of topics

    Already gave up season tickets.
If this is what I think it is – hockey will be off our radar for good.
    ENOUGH of this BS.
Yeah, let’s get rid of the cops, the judges, the jail cells. Let’s call them “incarcerated individuals” now instead of “inmates” WTF?!?!?!

No, they aren’t backing away from supporting law enforcement night. They are only backing away from the t-shirt giveaway.

    So much butthurt

Make no mistake about it. Backing away from giving out the tee shirt is them backing away from supporting them. All because of some backlash on social media. I hope this backfires on them.

And had they not even has a t-shirt giveaway and just simply announced a law enforcement night, I feel than many of the people on this thread would think it’s a nice gesture by the MN Wild. Funny how some of these same people make fun of people and belittle people for being offended by a flag or symbol, yet these people are now offended by a t-shirt giveaway being retracted. It’s completely ridiculous on all accounts and either way the MN Wild is going to butthurt such soft individuals.

What a damn joke. Anyone that looks at a black and white american flag with a blue stripe resembling a hockey stick and thinks f the police thats racist can shove a rusty wire up their pee hole.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding the intent Blank but……
Yes, just announcing a police support nite would be/is great.
Deciding to back away from t-shirts could be a political thing. Could be a financial thing. Could be a supply thing.
I will wait and see. If they hand out shirts for the nurses and firefighters and not the cops – shame on them. Caving to social media is tearing apart the fabric of our society right now. It manifests itself in so many ways, some hurtful, some helpful and unfortunately, it is driven by companies that are in lock step with our current administration. My humble opinion.

I guess from here on out if I want to see some “action”, I’ll do a ride-along with my local PD. No more tickets from me, nor merch, nor TV. It’s time we started communicating with folks that capitulate with the Woke-Notsees at the peril of their corp bottom line. Sad, isn’t it, that a vocal minority of snoflake screw-ups can dictate to corporations, many of whom they never patronized, nor would have ever patronized. So Corp CEO’s are more worried about the business they never had, and would never get, than their loyal clientele?

The greatest thing about that warm illuminating sunlight, that sunlight that exposes all for all to see, is that snoflakes don’t stand a chance playing in it. That’s why all their dealings are in the dark.

Why waste money on a bunch of overpaid prima-donna athletes? OK, OK, hockey probably has the fewest prima-donnas of all real sports, but when we live and breath in the state of hockey where 80% of our D1 teams make the playoffs, who cares what some out of touch gazillionaire duz?

Umy. The wild stated the reason why. It was due to negative comments on Social media about what some people think about the thin blue line flag that was going to be on the shirt. So no doubt on the reason.

Why would anyone listen to actual fans or why would the government listen to actual citizens? The owners & politicians can’t get rich (enough) by playing by the rules. They have to take bribes from the billionaires. Then the billionaires can control anything they want. After all, money talks right?

I had a family member who was a police officer and was part of the K-9 unit. I use to do police ride alongs with him most every Friday night for several years. In fact they Keep a blank dated release form signed by me on file just in case there was ever a incident while I was there they could just write in a date. Did this rather than doing a new one every time I rode with them. I wish some of these people that have nothing but bad things to say about police officers would spend a few nights doing ride alongs with one. They would get to see a ton of _hit that would most likely change their minds. Some of the crap I saw while riding with them, most people would never believe me if I told them. I was doing a ride along on the night police office Jerry Haaf was shot at Pizza shack. If fact we had ate the restaurant only a few hr’s before the shooting as we had many times during ride alongs. Pizza shack always gave police officers reduced or free meals. It was on lake st. and they thought having a police office there. just leaving there or on their way there was a good thing.

The frequency at which you use the term “snoflake” is laughable. Do yourself a favor and go wet a line. It might help you relax and bring your blood pressure down a bit
