MN Stream brown trout opener?

    I am fishing a brown trout stream in Central Minnesota this weekend on stream trout opener. Any tips or suggestions on getting to these trout? I always see some trout there, but the Creek chub always steal my fly.

    If its leagal use the creek chubs as bait. Chub tails or filets are excellent bait for big browns and all you need is a slip sinker rig at the most.

    I think I’d throw either a count down Rapala or a Mepps spinner.
