MN Slough Country Perch

    Tried a new lake today in slough country and the bite was on. All fish were in that 10-12 inch range. Had to work to find them but once on them they were fast and ferocious. There are great opportunities in MN slough country many of the lakes are coming off the 2013 winter kill. Lakes and sloughs are loaded with walleyes and perch.

    Where is slough country? I would guess west central.

    Same question here. Not familiar with an area generally called slough country. Glad you got on them though. Nice fish!

    I am looking to head out on Monday to do some fishing.. Do you have a name of some of the lakes in the slough country?
