Worthless Professors and they spread it among the minions in their “classes”
A guy I know just quit his teaching career over not being able to teach true history. It was a sad deal talking to him. He is a very professional stand up guy and teaching is his life. Or was. He was a high-school level teacher in Chisago County.

What history would you suggest? I guess your very superior to school and teachings I’d like to hear where kids should get there lessons from ? Are we supposed to re write history and make it pg. Or teach our history and see how ugly the world can be, and was. should Learn from our history and try not to repeat. I’m sorry he was a white man teaching history, but if you were smart you’d know lots of history lessons are not written by the white man. Lots of ugly truth to history. Why re write it. That was a pretty ignorant comment, but I expect that from some of you.

For some people it’s the only leg they have to stand on.
Pretty brutal although it’s not as bad as some of the final ones they were mulling over. I didn’t realize state flags were supposed to look like cartoons for 4 year olds.
But if I’m being honest, I could care less. This state never fails to fall flat on it’s face when trying to look “important”.

That’s what happens in war… its brutal and goes both ways.
You could say 3/4’s of history would’ve been lost if it wasn’t for the white man documenting it when they discovered things. Always two sides to the coin.

Barley a peep. It’s half of history. That’s the point why re write what actually happened. If it wasn’t for white people America wouldn’t be what it is today.

Yea they were including long before whitey stepped foot on this country. Go read some Native American history and you will learn that they had brutal wars between tribes. They took slaves, killed women and children, and drove tribes off of their land and their homes just like white man did to them.
That’s been true for all races as long as man has been around. That’s history and lots of it is ugly. We cant undo it and erasing it does no good.
Take an hour and go visit the Mille Lacs Indian museum. Good history lesson taught mostly by natives. Time and money better spent than at a casino.
The Sioux tribes were indeed pushed out of WI and northern MN into the Dakotas by the Ojibwe 200 – 300 years ago.
The leader of the Ojibwe living south of Lake Mille Lacs helped moved most of his tribe to White Earth in return for about 700 acres. I would suspect he knew exactly what was doing.

There is lots of good native history books as well. Right from our local tribes even as well as all around the US. I enjoy reading history in all forms.

Same people who when you go to the store they have to wear they them name tags like any one gives a crap if they are queers or not.

I’m neither liberal or conservative. I just can see the values some of the people and what those values are doing to the US. Changing the non offensive flags as being full of hate and force feeding bs is one of the things I can’t stand. Many people don’t stand up these days and it needs to change. Letting the sissy boys in to run the world will be our downfall. I wasn’t pointing at any one. But reading Comments for years I know who and what they stand for.
Take a look around. It’s happening every day. High-school bathrooms are becoming non gender. The day a man is in the bathroom with my 8 year old daughter will be a cold day in hell. I’ll keep fighting against it. I don’t ever blame only one group. Freaks come from all parties.

I thought the snowflake was fitting for the current state of our state, and think they should throw a little white tip on there too imo. I actually think the new state seal is pretty sweet. Anyone offended by a flag, old or new, is pretty lucky not to have real problems to deal with! Overall pretty big waste of time and money imo, but hey look it has people arguing for days instead of paying attention to more meaningful things, so for the suits in St. Paul it was a pretty big win.
