Upon further investigation, I didn’t realize this because it’s only available as an angling license, it’s not an option to get a 3 year sportsman license.
so i went to the DNR site to check on fishing licenses….. i noticed they have a disability license for no fee????
what if anything does anyone know about this? does said disability mean a handicap sticker for your vehicle……or if a person is getting social security disability?????????
meybe its in the handbook they give out…..i havent picked one up yet??
We were driving to the lake a little bit ago. My son said, “I can’t believe it’s March already”. Luckily for online sales.

Disabled and receiving a supplemental income (SSI, SSD, SSDI) Dr fills it out like a parking permit.
So my son was going fishing today so I reminded him last night he needed a new license. He texted me do I need the 2 walleye stamps?! What is up with that. 2!?
One is just the $5 contribution, the other is $5.75 and gets you the physical stamp. Been this way for years.

Ah, figured as much. THanks!

Link to the permanent disability lifetime fishing application.
Edit this is for the vets I’ll try and get the regular one.
an extra $.75 for the hard copy? That’s outrageous!!!
Have to help out the USPS by at least covering postage.
It may have been mentioned on previous pages but when applying for Real ID you can get your lifetime angling license (if you have one) designation on your new Real ID card.
Whatever year the Wild signed Parise and Suter (I heard the announcement on the radio driving to St. Paul) is the year I got my lifetime Sportsman (small game and fishing) license. The next year the prices were going to go up. I think I’ve already hit the payback year or it’s within a year or two.

Wished I would have known that at the time I got my Real ID. Will have to remember when I renew.
So I have a Enhanced Drivers license already. It is suppose to be almost like a passport yet I need to bring in 2 things that show my current address and a DD 214 to prove I am a vet. Both are on my current Enhanced license. I also will have my lifetime fishing license on the new license once I bring in proof. This state is so messed up in so many ways. Too many DEI hires making up stupid rules !
