Just out of curiosity, how does one get there fishing equipment confiscated? Multiple infractions? Blatantly over the limit? Or can this happen for any infraction?

In my experience with these auctions, guns go for outstanding prices and bows can be had for very good prices, specially lefty bows. I did see a Ruger .44 Carbine on the list though…Wish I could be there to take a crack at it!

Are they not allowed to auction off handguns in this case? or is it just because not too many people hunt with a handgun in general and not many end up confiscated?

After looking at that list it seems evident that there are some seriously stupid people out there.

I went to this once…. That was the last time.

Prices went up and up and up. Guns going for more than retail. One guy bid on a gun until I could barely understand what he was doing. Then I found out it was either his rifle or someone he knew.

Good deals on the treestands though.

    Just my take on it.

May be a dumb question, but I’ve never been, do they display all the gear before it goes to bid?
