The Nebraska Walleye Association is proud to announce that their first tournament in 2011 will be held at Lewis and Clark Lake near Crofton, Nebraska. The dates for the tournament are May 14 and 15, 2011. Entry fee for each day is $150.00 and there will be payouts for both Saturday and Sunday. On Friday there will be a mandatory rules meeting at CJ’s at the Lake.

Following the weigh-in for day one, the NWA will be hosting a “Go Fish Kids” clinic at Weigand Marina. Currently, there are almost 100 kids signed up to participate in this event where they are instructed on the basics of fishing, given a free tackle box and fishing pole, and served a hot dog (Wimmers), soda and a bag of chips. The two communities of Crofton, NE and Yankton, SD have worked really hard to help put this event on. Hope to have a great turn-out.
