Usually always head up to fish the Mississippi this time of year in the Rice/Sartell area. wondering if anyone up there has seen how high the river is this week? Headed from Princeton so would hate to drive that far and have the river flowing too fast and high.
I’m not sure what you call too high but my buddy was still able to find some nasty rocks. Nothing money can’t fix though 
Mainly want to make sure not going to be flying downstream 100 mph.

The river level has dropped and they closed the flood gates a week or two ago. It is flowing at much higher than normal for this time of year, but I would say it is typical flow for June.
I drive by it multiple times a day through Sartell so its still up there, but there are more people out fishing in recent days and some are hugging near shore and not moving at all. Especially the closer you get to the dam, the current is more right in the middle.
