Just noticed today looking at some pictures I’m missing something. Does anyone know what would go in the empty spot between the horn and speedometer?

Looks like a great spot for an hour meter? Could put in a USB charger. Possibilities are endless.

That’s probably where the gas gauge would go if you had a different gauge package installed.

It looks like amps and fuel are at the bottom of the larger RPM and speed gauges, so it was probably available for a trim gauge.

Personally, I’d find a nice hour meter that fits the opening.

I have an Alumacraft as well and its just an extra location for you to put a gauge that you want in there. Not technically anything missing. I used one of the available spots to install my Stealth DC digital voltage gauge so I can see the charging capacity of my trolling motor batteries to ensure they are charging from my outboard.

Have a similar open spot on my windshield version. Always assumed it was for trip and/or hour meter. This was my first boat without a trim gauge. I missed it a lot at first. After a couple years, it doesn’t seem that important.
