September 18, 2008 at 7:56 pm #712570I’m definitely saving this picture for that day when James finally kicks me out for good. Then I’ll sneak in and post it under the “thanks for giving me your business niggers” thread.

September 18, 2008 at 8:29 pm #712578Oh Lip, settle down. Obviously the joke was over your head too.
Like potato its spelled tomato. Here is the Dan Quayle jab…
Quote:
His most famous blunder occurred when he corrected a student’s correct spelling of “potato” to “potatoe” at an elementary school spelling bee in Trenton, New Jersey, on June 15, 1992.[16] According to his memoirs, Quayle was uncomfortable with the version he gave, but did so because he decided to trust what he described as incorrect written materials provided by the school. He informed student William Figueroa that he had misspelled the word “potato”, when in fact Figueroa had spelled it correctly. Quayle then had Figueroa add an “e”, not only making it incorrect, but once again making himself a target with this misspelling. Quayle was widely lambasted for his apparent inability to spell the word “potato”. Figueroa was a guest on Late Night with David Letterman and was asked to lead the pledge of allegiance at the 1992 Democratic National Convention. The event became a lasting part of Quayle’s reputation.

Good catch Rip, even though if JJ wouldn’t have pointed it out, you wouldn’t have caught it…
So 1 point for JJ for catching it, and 1 kick in the nuts for Lip.

The only reason I did not see it is because I never read what you post anyways. The only reason I caught it is beacuse JJ posted it. So… 1) It don’t really matter what you say and 2) Who gives a shit what an overweight River Chipmunk has to say anyways????

Wish I still had that windmill
September 3, 2012 at 2:48 pm #208573I took a friend out bow hunting elk last night and had a 320 class 5×5 come out at 200 yards. He was feeding and making his way towards our ground blind and at about 100 yards he stopped feeding and let out a make the hair of the back of your neck stand up bugle(PUMPED) and then angled back towards river bank and disappeared. We had a few cows within range but there is still a couple days of the bow season left so Devin wants to hold out for the bull. I can’t wait to leave Thursday for my hunt, hopefully my new bow will be in Maple Creek when I get there, if not it will be rifle until it gets there and I get it dialed in.
September 4, 2012 at 2:38 pm #122699I was out elk hunting this weekend for the first time this fall. I heard a few bugles but things haven’t really started kicking off in my area yet. 2 more weeks and they will be in full rut. Can’t wait to get back out there this weekend! Good luck on your hunt
