    Just so proud of my baby girl that I could just burst! Unloading all the gear and doing a little house cleaning. I’ll get a report written up and I have a lot of pics to share of the 3 goats we took. I had the most incredible time watching Olivia (age 13) take her first antelope. Pretty impressive shot to say the least. Age 13, 368 yards, with a 15 to 20 mph cross-wind. She delivered the perfect 1 shot-kill. Dropped it literally in its tracks. Her follow up act was a perfect stalk to fill her doe tag. This little gal put some great meat in the freezer and gave Dad a lot of great memories!

    Wow, that is a GREAT shot in those winds. Can’t wait to read more and see the pics!

    You have every reason to be proud. I don’t know that I could make that shot.

    Congrats to Olivia, and a huge to Dad for getting a young person involved in the outdoors.

    Thanks guys! Now she realizes why we practiced shooting form and distance so much prior to our trip. She had about 80 rounds shot at our practice range between 300 and 450 yrds over the coarse of a month before going. Mission accomplished as we all strive for, that very quick kill. I hope no one feels that she was just flinging copper out there. She practiced up to 500 yrds and had a great range of up to 400yrds with a 30 mph crosswind. She earned hert trophy!
