Wade, I have been running the original 50″ since before Lip Ripper was born! Awesome results on the big Lakes…

By this time next week we’ll be on the road for colorado elk! Just wondering if anyone else is looking at a similar time frame and where youre heading. We normally buy a tag when we get there. I have a gut ache untill the tag is in my hand. Saw a group a few years ago from NY or jersy that did not have hunter safety cards. They leased a farm from a guy and couldnt buy a tag . Never did hear how that worked out… Anyway good luck and I’ll hopfully have a good report when I return.

Update on the brother in law and nephew in MT… seen lots of Elk, but with just 2 of them, it was hard to come up with a plan of attack. They got within 100 yards and that was it. My nephew did arrow a nice Whitetail Buck though, down in the hayfield one evening
