420 loaded rounds for the 22-250 in case we run into a prairie dog colony…..pronghorn tags in hand……daughters registered for school and the missing attendance record is already filed……..scent lock cloths already washed and vacuum sealed……daughters been practicing her bow up to 55 yards….and the .270 is got the load data dialed in for 300+ yrds!!!!
I woke up on Sunday AM to a heavy fog and cool air. Reminded me of many mornings in the duck blind in years past. I could smell the gun powder. It’s almost time!!

It’s a long 48 hours to wait on my daughter to get out of school on Friday……….Everything is packed, 1 customer meeting on Friday morning, then nap, and then 1,137 miles of driving!
