Could be high fence for all I know. No details attached other than a claim it was shot near Mountain Home, Idaho. How many corn fields are in Idaho?? I thought it was all potatoes.

I gotta share this story with you guys….. as most of you know last week, I was in Montana Elk hunting….. anyways, some dude got towed in here while I was gone, a 3500 RAM Mega Cab, that his flex plate let loose and was stranded. He was from Missouri, on his way elk hunting. We rented him a van and he went hunting… anyways, I am talking to him on the phone, discussing his repairs and I asked him how his elk hunting went and mentioned that I also just got back. He said he got a 6×6 Bull elk… I told him CONGRATS !!! I got squat I asked him where he was hunting and then he said…….. wait for it …… wait for it…… LONG PRAIRIE, MN !!! For those of you who don’t know, it is about 1 hour north of here and is a high fenced operation…. I asked him how they do it… he said its pretty tough… you pick your animal, and then they release it on 1500 acres. Im sorry but, I had to bite my tongue so bad, it was bleeding…. now I am wondering why I whipped by Long Prairie doing 75 MPH and drove another 15 hours ???

I have driven through Mountian Home many times, can’t say I remember seeing any agricultural land

There are mountains to the north that hold elk.

They do have tons of pronghorns though.
