Great mule deer

    A friend of mine found this buck while hunting by himself. After watching him for a couple hours, he didn’t think he scored good enough for his personal standard. His friends were hunting close by and likely they would want a crack at him. After reviewing the pics, she said heck YA!!

    They stalked for a couple hours in knee high grass within 57 yards and a great shot was made. 184 green scored, 24.5″ wide. Needless to say, he is kicking himself a bit now.

    He would prefer not to talk about it.

    He scored the deer in the low 170’s. His bottom was 180 knowing there is a lot of season left and what he’s seen around. He shot his elk on the 2nd day of the season and was having some buyers remorse(which is funny since the elk went 340 easily).

    What a Slooob, I hope I get a crack at one like that in Jan. Congrats, It doesn’t get any better then that!
