    A friend from back home got this great bull on the 2nd day of the season. He claims he had to think whether it was a shooter or not. I think he’s full of it.

    There isn’t much to think about there. OTHER than shot placement and not flinching….

    Kooty, I have meet lucas a few times hunting where he got that bull. We hunt the same area every year we get drawn. We were there the week after he shot his bull. He is an unbeliveable hunting machine and knows that area better than anyone I know. We struck out this year it was hard hunting the week we went very wet and most roads were impossible to drive down. But we did see many nice bulls and had our chances. In 2009 I shot a nice 300 inch bull in the same area and my brother got a nice 5×5. Do you hunt around that area also? Here is the pic of my bull from 2009.
