No Colorado for me, come on NM

Found out this morning, I didn’t draw CO Elk, only NM LE entry left, everything in my body is crossed. 3 more weeks until I know.

Have you drawn any elk tags Les? I didn’t apply anywhere this year, too much other stuff going on in life.

I’ll be starting on Montana and Wyoming archery next year hopefully.

0-6 on elk tags this year. If NM doesn’t come through, it will be OTC. I did draw a bear tag for WI, which will be fun.

Let me know when you start doing applications next year. The different states can be tricky if you haven’t done them before.

I’ve only done WY in the past, so I know exactly what you are talking about. Got a spot in Utah I need to start applying for too. It’s about a every 12 year draw. However, it’s true trophy country. Only 2-3 non-resident tags a year. Buddy has a cabin in the heart of it. I’ve got an invite to Montana I need to take advantage of.

After reading your post today, I had to go out to youtube and get myself all worked up watching elk hunting videos. Gotta love the roar of a bugle!!!

There is a “backdoor” method that will show you what you have, or in my case, have NOT. Not laughing either
