There wasn’t a lot of participants in the XXXX weeks to go, and I have been preparing hard, so I let the thread slip the last few weeks. By now most of the elk seasons are open, and lots of guys heading West.
The first wolves in the lower 48, killed by hunters, in many years hit the ground this week. Around 10,000 tags sold in Idaho, and season opened yesterday. Hopefully this will help the elk population, rebound out there.
Good Luck to all you guys headed West for everything, and those staying here. Remember to take lots of pics, keep the wind in your face, hunt safe, and enjoy.
