Great show again today. Fishing and hour away from my house.

Sorry, had to turn this weeks show off. PJ & James voices were mixed so low the volume had to be turned up very high, then the obnoxious music would come blasting so high the volume had to be turned down. Half the time the guys were talking with the music drowning them out. I think I’ve seen every episode since you started but your engineering is horrible now. I guess I’m too old for the show. I still like the site though.

I wasn’t going to say anything but I had the same experience with this episode. This is the first episode I’ve watched in a while (because we spend time in Minocqua every year), and I don’t know if this is an ongoing issue or just this episode? The beginning when PJ is talking (like 3:30) I thought something was wrong with my tv at first.

I’m not videographer but I know audio engineering and this is a really poor mix leading to an unprofessional final product. Part of the issue is mic placement and the actual audio capture, and part of it is creating a balanced mix in post.

I was watching on YouTube app via roku on my tv. Maybe the broadcast on Bally was better?

No, it wasn’t. It also wasn’t the first time this year that the music washed out the voices. But I’m still going to watch even if I can’t hear what they are saying.

The sound was very bad on both phone and TV.

This isn’t uncommon with fishing shows I watch lately. James, do you do total production right up to airing? I know Lindners do 8 or 9 outdoor shows and this happens on some of theirs.
