Minocqua area ice fishing

    Anyone fishing the area?? Been out on Johnson lake,Carroll and school house bay on minocqua with no luck. Anything working for you?

    Get in touch with Max Zaruba on Facebook he is fishing Minoqua area. Good luck next weekend will be out you gonna be free?

    try looking up kurts island sportshop in Minocqua he gives up to date reports on the lakes around…also tryin using another fishing website to find out about vilas and Oneida lakes..not sure if I will get banned for posting that website on here

    We were, but yesterday we stunk up the whole area…slow as heck for us, and everyone we ran into. Going again today, just waffling on which direction.
    What are you trying to target?

    Well I’m glad I’m not the only one struggling to find fish. I will target whatever will bite at this point.

    I got my butt handed to me on Rainbow today. Between 12 and 26 FOW, some really nice looking structure that should have had biting fish…but didn’t. Talked to a couple different guys fishing the same area but different lakes. One guy tried four, pretty much nothing to report. Thought I knew how to fish until the last couple of days. cry

    I got so fed up I headed home early. devil fished for 3 days with a couple dink perch to show for!! Unbelievable!!
