I read a post a while back about the transport of the minnow bucket, it’s always been a pain! Here is my fix,a turkey fryer. 6 gallon bucket fits perfect, minnow bucket in side pail.DK

How many people actually have an extra turkey fryer though?

Heck use the one you got, it won’t wreck it.

I run an Engel bait cooler so I don’t have this problem. But if I did I’m sure there are cheaper options then a stainless steel pot.

To each their own though, and I’m glad it works for you. Whatever we can do to make it easier for ourselves I’m all for it. It’s a nice solution to the problem.

Yes, my 30 dollar turkey fryer pot is no comparison to a 60 dollar minnow cooler. No worries about exhaust wrecking minnow pail. Since I carry, a big box front and back,it works well , DK

Buddy of mine uses the Clam minnow bucket that seals and puts it in a 5 gallon pail on his snowmobile.

I carry to much stuff front and back, the bucket has to be where it’s at, I burned up plastic pails from the exhaust, A hoop won’t work, this option works for me, no more melted pails. DK.
