Minnkota Tracxes Issues

    I just installed my Traxxes 80 lb 24 volt Motor and I am not getting enough juice to it. It seems to be running at half power. I had a vantage on it before and just reused up the 3 prong plug. Do I have the plug hooked up wrong? The plug in the boat has three wires ( 2 blacks and one red) running to it but the traxxes only has two wires. So I hooked the red up to number one on both and put the black in number two on the plug from the traxxes. Should I have it in the 3 spot?

    My bow mount is running fine. So I know it is not my batteries.

    Dumb question. Is it hooked up to only one battery or two?

    The Vantage had a 12V wire for raising and lowering the unit. You might have connected to the 12V wire.

    I have an orange wire for 12V connection to my Vantage. You may want to disconnect your 12V wire from plug and battery if you’re using straight 24V. At least from battery.
