So I have an older powerdrive maybe 10 years old? It has a built in sonar into the motor. I would like to stick with Lowrance and want to upgrade to a newer graph up front. The built in transducer is only sonar which is fine. I have no idea what kind of model I could upgrade to that would work with the Minnkota. I dont need anything fancy up front but would like a bigger screen and a unit that is compatible. I thought I read that Lowrance and Bird use different frequencies? Can anyone guide me to a model from lowrance that will work for this application? I would like to use the built in sonar and stay away from strapping a ducer onto the motor but not sure how or which new models would work. Every website shows the front of the units and nothing on how the connections look like from the back. Any help greatly appreciated!
