I currently bought a powerdrive v2 with I pioit. The remote shuts off after 5 seconds after showing all the symbols. Changed battery in remote still does same thing. Trolling motor has power. I press the learn button on top of the head and it doesn’t do nothing. I can’t pair the remote. Any advice would be great!!! Thank you

If a buddy has a comparable remote you could borrow id try that before anything else.
Did you try pairing it with the remote plugged into the power cord….
There’s no way to plug the remote into tge power cord. Just battery
^good call. Specifically, see #2 in the “learn” section. Is your motor deployed? Mine is a PITA to deploy with boat on trailer so i remember it failing before I did that.
I figured it out there’s 2 wires coming out of trolling motor that you have to connect to each other. Works mint now
