Curious if anyone knows of or has experience using aftermarket props for a 24v Terrova for example? Do these exist? Are there better options than stock?

Also, any opinions on those Eliminator Prop Nuts? Like this one:

i’ve got the Eliminator Prop Nut. i have no idea if it actually reduces vibration and noise as promised (because how could you ever tell?) but i like the pop of accent color that it adds. it also makes it much easier to get the prop on and off since it replaces the nylon lock nut.

a few years ago i had a Kipawa prop. again, no idea if it really performed as promised for efficiency and power, but it worked just fine.

Have the kipawa on a 36v ultrex. Noticeable difference in terms of reaction for steering and power. However, they are not good for weeds, so if your going to run through weeds, stay with the standard minn kota prop, if your looking to gain more reaction or a quicker response on steering the 3 blade kipawa is great when not in the weeds. Cannot put an anti vibration prop nut on the kipawa that I am aware of. The anti vibration prop nuts help, but not a noticeable difference in my opinion. Maybe it is noticed under the water for noise as sound is magnified under water by alot. Noticeable difference from the kipawa 3 blade to the standard 2 blade stock prop though. Highly recommend the prop swap if your out away from weeds.

I’ve got a kipawa on my 80 terrova too, I sort of recall noticing a difference at first but I’ve had it on long enough I dont really remember anymore. I keep the stock prop in the boat as a back up now

I run a Kipawa prop on my 80 Terrova, I think it does better at maintaining speed in waves than stock, just as weedless too…

Thanks guys! I’m going to give the kipawa a spin! Rare for me to be in the weeds. Mostly rock, sand and mud.

Jon, just curious, what are you hopping to change with the new prop? Wondering if I need to consider one also.

Busted the current prop. Was just looking for better options. The MK props are specifically designed to cut weeds rather than overall speed/performance. If you go out to Amazon and read the customer reviews, see similar comments as posted here. Slightly better performance. Better bite. Little more speed for the same speed setting.

For an extra $10 bucks, going to give it a try.
