MinnKota 4 Bank Charger – Flashing Lights

Hi All,

I had an issue with a battery where the water had run a bit low so the charger had a flashing red light and the 25% light green. That was easy to diagnose and fix. I filled the battery (it had been filled last fall, too) with distilled water and checked the others. All of the others were OK.

I put it back on the charger and now the charger flashes green on the 100% and the 25% indicator. I can’t find anywhere that says what this means? I’m trying to call MK but who knows if I’ll ever get through. Anyone ever seen this before?

I recently had similar issues. My Minn Kota 460 PC was bad. I replaced it with the same thing.

Got ahold of minnkota. Those aren’t standard error lights so they wanted me to send the whole unit in. Tested the batteries and one was bad (year old interstate group 27).

Replaced the battery under warranty and everything looks good now.
