I’m heading out on Tonka tonight in search of some eyes. Have never fished it for walleyes. Was going to go somewhere else but my buddy suggested we give it a try. Our initial plan is to try trolling stickbaits, and if that doesnt work, try jigs and plastics on shallow rocks and weedlines.

Has anybody been out that would share a report, or any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have a few Friends that have done well in Browns Bay near Bracketts Point and Spirit Island. Those may be a few Areas to try.

Don’t be afraid to look for them 30 feet down either. The bite is a very short window as the sun goes down is what I’ve noticed.

You would be in good shape sticking to channels right now, jig and minnow usually can’t go wrong.
