Good win. As others have mentioned the holding calls shot us in the foot on a few drives. The score would have been much higher if not for some of those. Our Red Zone defense was stellar again. Undefeated at home this year!

The Vikings were lucky Keenum was out the entire second half.
A 10 point win at home against a 1-6 team with a second string QB (for 1/2 the game) was probably a little too close for Zimmer…..

Agree. Typical Vikes playing down to the other teams level…..

A win is a Win. Not their best outing for sure. Had this been early in the season they would have found a way to lose. Now at least even when they have a less than great game against a poor team they can find a way to win. If they can keep cook and the receivers Healthy and the D can clean up a few issues, they could be a great team down the stretch this season.

They looked a lot better in the few weeks prior.

I was thinking the same thing, but didn’t want get stricken down for trespassing.

Next they get the Chiefs with a second string QB the whole game. They win that and it’s Superbowl homeboy!!!

Mahomes has not been ruled out for that game against the Vikings yet. He literally just got ruled out for Sunday’s game against Green Bay an hour ago. There is a decent possibility he could play on Sunday, Nov 3.

The numbers make the game look way less close than the score does. We had 434 yards of total offense, 273 passing/ 161 rushing, and dominated time of possession 36 minutes to 23. We probably would have had 200+ rushing yards without all the holding penalties.

good story on startrib this afternoon about Rhodes, he admits he’s hurting his team and needs to be better and clean up the penalties… at least he owns it and is working to get better…

Kinda like Green Bay’s game against KC this weekend? And like their 2 score wins in every one of their wins, except the Raiders, this year? Superbowl Homeboy! jester rotflol jester

No honest Packer or Viking fan can expect either team to make the Superbowl…..

Vegas has the Packers at #2 in NFC and Vikings at #4 for odds to win the NFC chased .

Odds versus expectations are completely different things though. For instance, my expectation of the Vikings is to lose in a heartbreaking fashion when it matters most.

At this point I can’t rule out the Vikings getting swept in the playoffs by the Yankees.

Ahhh, the annual DWI. Didn’t see that one coming…. coffee I guess we can expect the next loss gets blamed on the “Distraction”.

    Off the bandwagon…..

Even though you can’t drink and carry, its so damn easy to get a permit to carry. No excuse there. Lot easier to explain….” Sorry, for that was in the car. ….”

lol you guys are acting dumb. this happened to Jayron Kearse not Kirk Cousins. this guy is a backup safety. It will have about as much affect on the gameplan or on the mindsets of the players as if the janitor was pinched for a DWI

True, but given how much depth we don’t have in the secondary and that he actually is a pretty solid player is a bit of an issue.

Mike Hughes puking out the back door is a nice look as well, pure class.

28 round clip, fully loaded with one in the chamber and he didn’t have the decency to inform his passengers there was a weapon in the car. WTF is the endgame here fellas? Are you even prepared to pull that trigger or are you carrying to look tough? Unreal.

I do appreciate that they were thoughtful enough to drive around the barriers to get onto the closed interstate. At least that way they don’t end up involving other innocent vehicles in their stupid decisions.

28 in the clip and one in the hole,
Jayron is about to make some bodies turn cold
Now they droppin’ and yellin’ , it’s a tab bit late
Mike and Jayron had to regulate*

*Jayron get caught driving drunk while Hughes pukes out the window

You should bribe the fuzz to get the dash cam / body cam videos and make a new music video. It’d be legendary.

Who’s really surprised that the Vikings lose in heartbreaking fashion?? All I have to say is we had the ball with 2:30 to go and two timeouts. Came up small again when it mattered.

Anyone catch captain kirk yelling “I’M TRYING” like a little baby coming off the sideline? I would hope “trying” is the bare minimum. Try harder lol

I don’t think he looked too bad.

I wish Rogers looked half as good as Cousins today…..

Tough day all around for the NFC north. The Lion’s are still clinging on though.

Cousins gets paid Premier dough, he needs to start playing like a Premier player.
    He lacks composure.
Sliding short of an easy first down. roll

It also doesn’t help to let someone gallop 90+ yards for a TD.

They’re still in good shape. The rest of the division lost too and as long as they stay within a game of Green Bay they can win the division.

Unfortunately, Seattle is a team they are now competing with for a wild card spot and the sea chickens won in OT.

Pretty sure he was yelling at Treadwell to KEEP RUNNING as he stopped his crossing route 10 yards short of the sideline on a third down. Kirk played well I thought, with a few mistakes, but Stefanski called a terrible game. He kept going back to screens and bootleg’s when the Chiefs were all over them almost all game (we hit a few nice ones early), and then called a screen/boot on 4 of the last 6 plays when we went 3 and out twice. Maybe Kirk should have audibled out, but those were dumb plays to send in to begin with at that point. Thankfully the Pack got smoked by a worse team, so the division is still up in the air.
