Wondering if someone could direct me to a good walleye lake within an 1.5-2 hrs. of the Twin Cities. My wife and I are coming up to Twin Cities from Ft Wayne In. after xmas to spend some time with our daughter. We intend to bring my snowmobile and Otter and chase walleyes. Our daughter wants to ice fish over a couple of days around New Years. Does someone know of either a permanent fish house or resort where we can take the sled out to fish. Not interested in Mille Lacs. I will already have fished the National tournament before xmas on Mille Lacs. Would like a nice walleye lake. Will jig and tip up fish. Feel free to PM.
