I know several guys here fish this. What do you estimate the yearly cost is to fish this? Do they ever change lakes or do they stick with the same ones every year? Any pro’s or con’s anybody cares to share about it?

Everyone I’ve talked to seem to think it’s well run.

We’ll run tourney. Lakes typically stay the same. Mille lacs is now a photo release tourney.

Great circuit and very well run. Cost for a shot at winning a new boat at the championship=$40 membership + 4 single days at $220 + a 2 day at $260 + $510 for championship. $865 per person.

It’s typically the same bodies of water, but the bite is rarely the same.

Great group of men and women that fish the circuit.

If you wish to go for any team of the year titles add 1 more tournament to Fife’s total, 5 single days, and a 2 day, to $ 975 per person . Don’t forget to add in gas, food, lodging and bait. 1 weekend will cost between $850 to $1500. depending on how many pre fish days you take. Most pre fish only 1 day and both tournament days.

They have a good core of great people, well run, good turn outs, lots of good fishermen and fisherwomen. Usually a shorter than 30 minute rules meeting, straight and to the point. Championship on LOW in September is a blast.

Been fishing it since it’s inception in 2002.

Give it a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Too bad they didn’t have more of a presence on social media or online. Would be interesting to follow.

I agree on the social media side. Follow us next year for our tournament coverage on Twitter at FifeFish.

Their website usually has results posted within minutes of the finish.
