While fishing over the weekend I was able to capture this amazing sunset. It was an incredible view. The fishing was a bit slow, but the weather was perfect – a gently breeze, no bugs, birds singing, a turtle swam by, and I had a wonderful time laughing and hanging out with people I love. Doesn’t get much better than that! (Well, except perhaps if the panfish had been cooperating. )

He’s the coolest guide I know! I tipped him with jerky, although I ate my fair share of it too…

it is only then my soul finds contentmentDon’t overlook sunrise! The photo I took above (previous post) was just before I stepped in my boat to head out so early in the morning. Better fishing and the beauty and tranquility being out on the lake while everyone else was still in bed, no better way to start the day! Enjoy your time up there. Precious are those moments.

I really like this sentence. And I know what you mean.
Poomunk, that is a pretty photo! Looks so crisp and clean. I love the rocks along the shoreline.

Sharon,I think it stems from my belief that religion is for people who are afraid to go to hell, spirituality is for people that have already been there.
I know thats a quote from somewhere, but cant find it at the moment, but it fits me pretty well.
