And here comes another one. I feel sorry for anyone that fishes the MN or Mississippi Rivers exclusively this summer. This latest storm is moving very slowly and tracking right through the MN River Valley which means the rainfall totals will likely be pretty high.

We received about .70 rain in Central SD over the past couple of days and it was really appreciated. The moisture never seems to land where it is really needed. Monday and Tuesday will feel more like early fall rather than middle of summer.

We’re looking at highs in the mid-60’s on Monday. Break out the hoodies… if only for one day.

I’ve worn a hoody more this summer more than I can ever remember and I tend to run pretty hot. How much rain did we get between Monday afternoon and Friday AM alone?

Im good with the rain as long as the ramps stay open. Very good jig bite again this morning on the river.

Just saw this post. I drove through some of the hardest rain I ever saw between Le Seuer and St. Pete that morning, then we fished the Minnesota out of Judson that afternoon and caught some of the bigger channel cats I’ve ever seen come out of that stretch. Go figure.
