That hasn’t happened yet to me. I probably wouldn’t do it, right before a trip where a large snowfall was forecasted

If it’s not a super long stay, I just park my car 1-2 blocks away from the 50th street lightrail station in residential parking, and then walk to the light rail. It’s about a 10 min light rail ride to the airport from there. I’ve done it about 12 times without any issues.

What happens if there is a snow emergency?

The city doesn’t spend taxpayer money on snow removal anymore. Too many entitlements to fund so we just wait for the snow to melt in the spring…

The IC is the way to go. We live 15 mins from MSP but when we have 0500 flights for vacation we use it. It’s a bit more spendy if you don’t have a Chase card but the convenience and time savings are well worth it. Not to mention you save about 1-2 hours which is a lot when you have an early flight. In EPG time it’s about 2-4 Bloody Mary’s. Can’t put a price on that!

Thanks for the advice the wife booked a place for us at Hilton Home 2 with under ground parking. No brushing off snow when we get back.
