Remote has 3 AAA batteries, does anyone use any certain batteries that are supposed to be better or last longer or just name brand batteries?

Interesting, my remote uses the round quarter size battery. I wonder when they switched?

Im guessing they switched because the round button battery connections where junk. But Im really surprised they did because they sold a ton of remotes with the crap connections. Might just be a sign of increased competition. The old sales model of dumping crap on the market and selling replacements parts might not be working when you have 3 other companies to buy from.

If others are anything like me and leave the standard batteries in too long, they will be selling entire remotes.

I bought a backup remote last year and it came with the same round battery so it must be tied to the motor model year.

I don’t have a clue what is in my remote, I never use it anymore.

It appears the non-link bluetooth remotes use AAA.
