Minn Kota Mount Plate Question

The trolling motor on my 2016 Ranger is bolted directly to the bow and hard wired in as well. I want to add a quick release mount plate and add a receptacle and plug so I can service the trolling motor without dragging the entire boat to the shop. So many plug types on the market. Any tips about this process or types of plugs etc…
