Fleet farm has them on sale for $90. Nice for leaving in the glove box as backup if you forget your regular remote home on the charger, don’t want to wear the big ipilot link remote around your neck, or an extra for your fishing partner to use while you are bringing in a fish. Works on all bluetooth minnkota motors

Your smart phone will control your motor too.

I pretty much exclusively use the micro remote hung around my neck. Don’t see the need for the big one really.

There are certain settings you can’t change with the mini remote, like the autopilot mode for example. I had to drop $190 on a remote just to change that stupid “advanced” mode back to the legacy setting to keep my motor from over-correcting when following a heading. But I agree, I prefer to use the micro one most of the time.

I must be in the minority but I couldn’t stand the micro remote . Knowing what speed setting your on , knowing if the blades turning or not , knowing the speed is all worth the more expensive remote .

Just curious, do you not watch your main graph?

All the time but sometimes I’m looking out the back of the boat also . I like to remember things like I was on prop speed 5 that pass when I picked up fish maybe I need to stay at prop speed 5 to maintain that mph .

I hated motoring up to a spot, deploying the terrova then turning on the blade – I didn’t know if it was at 1 speed or 9 speed . Big problem when there’s a wing dam or boat up and down stream from ya .

I guess that explains it. I don’t fish rivers much.

I use the big remote almost exclusively. I also do not like the remote banging around my body. MinnKota sells a belt holder that works pretty good. Good luck.
