60 degrees next weekend definitely not calling it quits yet. Just getting good.

I may have to recant my comment about being done fishing. I was duck hunting last weekend, grouse tomorrow, pheasant Thurs and Friday. But seeing 60s for next weekend kinda glad I left my boat up at Mille Lacs, lol.

Pontoon and the lift for it are out but I left the dock & Pro V in and will be using them this weekend too.

Saw a high water of 52 today. Incredibly nice the last couple of nights. Fish are cooperating and the evenings on the water can’t be beat.

Fished from 8-10 PM on Monday Night. There were a few swimming around, but they weren’t interested in committing to my lures. Had walleyes following, and a couple came right up to lure but hit it they would not.

46 degrees SW corner today. Throwing big baits, got blanked. Nice day on the water!

A buddy and I tried from shore on Friday night. Same story as my last few trips. There were fish around, but we didn’t get any bites. I’m not going back unless the wind is right, or I am bored and haven’t fished in a few days, or it’s Election Night.

48.5 yesterday. Fishing was good in the afternoon, slow to start in the morning, but that is probably normal for these temps?

The drizzle kept me from fishing on election night. Being cold and wet and possibly not catching a thing, just wasn’t appealing to me for some reason.
