    Go to Johnsons Portside facebook page for some incredible videos of the ice on the move today with the big wind, lots of power, just get out of the way

    Good luck getting insurance on that one. Spider Island has a beautiful cabin on it too that may have the same issue.

    Spider Island cabin is on the shore side so it is okay. Eddie Lyback webcam will show.
    Half Moon also has a cabin as does all 3 of the Twins.
    If the cabins were sited wrong they would have.been gone years ago

    I went and looked at the webcam from the Lyback home place. Lots of ice on Spider but the house and buildings look okay.
    A lot of stories about previous owners of Spider. As a kid I would pile in a old cedar strip row boat with cousins and we would row to Spider. That was a looooong time ago & “The Wrestlers” were the owners.
