Mille Lacs tips

I haven’t ice fished Mille Lacs in 10 plus years. A buddy and I are thinking about taking a day trip up there on Monday. We will be on the south east side in the Isle area. And tips on colors or lures we should be trying that have work for you in the past. We’ll be putting up top ups to try and get those 10 pike you’re able to get this year too. Any tips would be appreciated !

For the pike I like to take a tip up and put a daredevil on it, then bait them in by hand jigging, this really seemed to get them aggressive towards me. A friend of mine and I limited out in 2 hrs last year doing this plus its a lot of fun going by hand.
