I want to run up to Mille Lacs but can only stay Friday night. Anyone have any recommendations for a resort that does single night on ice house rentals? THANKS!

Cole – 218-513-0886 Located in Garrison Bay. Tell him Charles referred you. If you’re a veteran, let him know. Might even knock a couple bucks off.

Heading up to Mille Lacs on Friday and staying until Saturday night. Have never fished this lake before.. What areas of the lake should I check out? Any help would be great! Thanks

This will only be my second time up this winter so I won’t be much help. The first time up I went out of Red Door on the north end. Caught some nice fish but nothing in the slot. Still a good time. Last year I went out on the south end a couple times from Lybacks and once out of Nitti’s and had mixed in both areas. I am sure alot of guys on here with more experience could put you in the right area. Good Luck!

Reefs, gravel flats, mud flats, etc. During the day fish the deep edges of structure (28′ to 34′) and don’t be afraid to move around to find fish. At dusk they’ll slide up the structure breaks and on top to feed.

Get a structure map and pick your poison, it’s a big lake. It’s also a busy lake so be ready to have people fishing next to you.
