So I’ve never ice fished Mille Lacs before since I normally fish smaller lakes near me. Looking to try something different with my buddy and head up to Mille Lacs to try some walleye fishing possibly. What should I be looking for in that lake? We are looking at the weekend of the 20th. I don’t know what depth would be best so any advice on that would help.

I would take a look at the Mille Lacs Lake forum on here and check Resorts blogs. I like to take a look at http://lybacks.com/category/fishing-report/ before I head up.
Best advice is get away from people like everyone else says on here.
Ask the resorts as they have the most current updates. They will point you in the right direction. I like no mans land between flats or between the rocks and flats.
