How is the off road travel looking going into next week? Would it be doable with a four wheeler or even better a pick up?

Off road is possible with truck.
Was out last night on the south end.
Use caution as some drifts will swallow you and there are some ice sheets that froze jagged from a windy freeze up.

I am aware of the jagged ice. I was out there last week with a snowmobile and that stuff is nasty.

Off-roading should be fine with sleds or ATV/UTV with chains or good traction. I’d be cautious about off-roading with trucks due to Red Door’s recent finding of 9.5-10.5” of ice on their plowed flats in places. I’ve seen massive trucks and wheelhouses venturing deep into the lake from Randy’s on the west side, but that doesn’t make it a good idea to follow. I have a gut feeling someone’s truck is gonna get wet on the flats this weekend.

Thanks for the intel. The other idea is my buddy bring both of his sleds.

Anybody try to go from the NE corner (Castaways) out to the mud flats via snowmobile?
