Mille Lacs looks ice free (almost)

    Saw a few chunks of ice around Isle but mostly open water. Also saw a boat out there. Up here on the NE corner by Malmo it’s open water as far as you can see

    West side still has lots of ice. Garrison all the way down to Eddie’s

    I just drove down 169 around 3:30 today and I would say it will be completely open within a day or two or whenever the wind blows good again. I decided not to put the dock in yet even though Cove Bay is wide open.

    Yup, I agree one windy day and gone. My place is just east of cove near Izatys. (Main lake) No putting the dock in until the whole lake is clear of ice. I did see quite a few docks on cove this evening.
