Mille Lacs (Hunter’s Point) 2019

    Hey folks,

    I’ll be making my first trip to Mille Lacs with my wife and boys 1/31 – 2/3. We’re staying at Hunter’s in a hard house the first night and the rest of the time I’ll be running the snowmobile. For those who know the lake, what tips would you give on how to fish the lake? Target species is primarily walleye but I’m not opposed to chasing some big perch as well.     Hunter’s road to the flats should be in good shape by then. I would focus on the mudflats, off the edge during the day and on the edge towards evening. You may still find fish on the rock reefs closer to shore during low light also. Good luck.
