Mille Lacs Crack

    Did anyone else hear/feel that crack this morning around 8am? Was sitting on 8 mile and have never heard or felt anything like that before. Had to reroute to get out. Open water near Sherman’s.

    Many that’s scary. The ice is a crazy thing.

    that’s wild. It’s been soo cold too. I see the area had a slight warm up, but still below 32. big ice is no joke!

    I am always thankful that my truck is not parked in that exact spot when a crack opens up…

    I was on Sherman’s Flat Saturday and was surprised there wasn’t the normal N to S breaker running off Sherman’s Point. Guess it was just late to the party, glad we missed it!
