Just a quick update on Milford. The bite is on.I was on the lake a couple hours yesterday with a couple newbies.A 9 and 14 year old that had never fished before. The water was rough to say the least but the fish were hungry. We had a good 23-24 inch walleye and about 20-25 wipers running from about 5to 10 lbs the biggest one was right at 29 inches. The fish were holding over deep structure and were were hammering them on deep diving cranks.Any BIG banana bait or BIG deep diving crank. We were running the biggest baits I had and were running down to 25 plus feet deep. When you got down to them it was FISH ON almost everyt time.Nearly every school we hooked doubles out of the four rods.Had 1 quad but it doesn’t count. 2 wipers about 8lbs with 2 white bass.
Hopefully the pictures get to me and I will get them added.I had my hands full with the boat and keeping rods rigged so the pics are on their phone. Also there were lots of nice 4 plus lb walleye coming in from other fisherman catching them up on the flats.

Oh man. I’d love to get my meat hooks on a 29″ wiper.
