    The Vikings announced today that longtime Senior Manager of Content for the Vikings Entertainment Network Mike Wobschall is no longer employed by the team. Neither side will comment on why. “Mike Wobschall is no longer an employee of the Minnesota Vikings. We wish him the best in his future endeavors,” said Vikings Vice President of Communications Jeff Anderson

    I live in Wisconsin so I don’t hear too many rumors or gossip about the Vikings. So I’m curious if there was something going on that those who live there might have heard that would’ve lead to his termination. Seems out of the blue for me, but I’m not in the area.

    Wonder if he will still be on KFAN? Interested to see if anyone knows anything as well.

    KFAN had no response when contacted by the Star Tribune according to the article.

    Yeah, it seems out of the blue, but if you read twitter everyone is pointing to the fact he previously was posting political type tweets, etc. He hadnt done anything recently so I would find it really hard to believe that was the cause.

    I went to school with his wife and used to chat with them during games back when we had season tickets. It’s been quite a while now.

    Ehh, I bet it was his brother Randy. He’s much more of a loose cannon than Carl, from the sounds of it.
