Anyone have a feel for if the majority of the walleyes/sauger have migrated up river? Normally they have by now but wondering if the cold water delayed the migration. However, it was slow for me at the head of the lake today. Taking a friend’s son out on Wednesday.
You’ll get a lot opinions on the what/when. For what it’s worth, here is my tactics from the last 40+ years. Moon phase = movement / temps/conditions = spawn. Doesn’t mean they went shallow and into spawning grounds just because of moon phase. They’ll stage in deeper water in the area and wait
