James H. did a great job of showing how we are in a in-between part of the season. Specks are off of the weed line but not over the deepest part of the basin either- about what I saw too in Wright Co. What has been working for you? Do they stay on weed lines in some lakes?
    Thanks

Where I fished they stay in 12 ft of water on the weeds all winter. You can catch them over the 30ft holes. But bigger fish consistently get caught in 8 to 12 ft and that’s what I’ll target all winter.

Thats just part of the game. Drill a big grid of holes and go to work. Figure it out on your own and it’s fun. It’s hard to relate to these fishing shows when the bites they are on are nothing similar to what I’m fishing.

Think the weed bite will only get better as the new tech helps people ‘crop off’ basin fish.
That lake you fish had a bad summer kill, no fish in there anymore waytogo

Haven’t been on that lake in a couple weeks. Been going the opposite way. And I don’t have new tech, just fishing spots I’ve been fishing for 20 years
