Mid January Wheelhouse Walleye Trip?

    I missed the good early Red Lake bite. Hear rumblings that Lake of the Woods is doing well. There’s Leech, Winny, and so many others.

    Got one last hurrah weekend planned Jan 14-16 before the first baby comes… and two more lines in the water come next winter ;)

    So,
    Where do me and my buddy go?

    We’re bringing the wheel house and will stay on the ice. Would love to catch Walleye above all else but am open to catching crappie and always love catching pike if I can too.

    We won’t be keeping limits every day. Just enough for some dinners and enough for fun and big mammas get put back in the lake to be caught again.
